A terrorist plants a bomb at the opening of a new market in Madras, leading to law and order disarray, but a student chairman, Prabhu, saves the day by uncovering the plans of the Governor who is secretly an aide of the national ruling party. Kadhalan is a 1994 Indian Tamil-language Action Drama film starring Prabhu Deva, Prabhu Dheva, Nagma Sadanah, Balasubramaniam S.p., Vadivelu, Girish Karnad and S. Shankar. A. R. S. Film International was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) K. T. Kunjumon. Kadhalan is written by Balakumaran, Rajashri Raju, S. Shankar and Satyanand and it is directed by S. Shankar and K. Raghavendra Rao. A. R. S. Film International acquired the distribution rights for the movie.
