A detective loses his faith after witnessing visions of a war between angels, but becomes involved in a battle over the soul of a deceased war veteran. The Prophecy is a 1995 American English-language Action Crime movie featuring Christopher Walken, Elias Koteas, Virginia Madsen, Eric Stoltz, Amanda Plummer, Viggo Mortensen and Patrick Mcallister. First Look Pictures in association with Dimension Films. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Joel Soisson. The motion picture is written and directed by Gregory Widen. Miramax Films acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. The Prophecy was released on 5th August 1995 and takes a screen time of 97 minutes. The film made a box office gross of $16 million. Cinematography was done by Richard Clabaugh and Bruce Douglas Johnson and editing by Sonny Baskin. The music was composed by David C. Williams.
