Tamasha follows the story of Ved and Tara as they fall in love, but Veds struggle with societal norms and identity crisis causes a rift between them until he gains introspection and returns to his true self. Tamasha is a 2015 Indian Hindi-language Comedy Drama movie starring Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Piyush Mishra, Javed Sheikh, Sushma Seth, Vivek Mushran and Vikash Rajput. Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Imtiaz Ali and Sajid Nadiadwala. The film is written and directed by Imtiaz Ali. UTV Motion Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Tamasha was released on 26th November 2015 and takes a screen time of 139 minutes. Tamasha was made on a budget of ₹87 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹68 crore. Cinematography was done by Ravi Varman and editing by Aarti Bajaj. The music was composed by Ar Rahman along with A. R. Rahman.
