Noor, a young journalist, uncovers an illegal organ harvesting operation and after losing her job, she launches an investigation resulting in the doctors conviction and becomes a respected journalist while also finding love. Noor is a 2017 Indian Hindi-language Comedy Drama film featuring Sonakshi Sinha, Kanan Gill, Shibani Dandekar, Purab Kohli, Sunny Leone, Suchitra Pillai Malik and Aishwarrya Khanna. The movie is inspired from Karachi You re Killing Me! by Saba Imtiaz. T-Series in association with Abundantia Entertainment. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Vikram Malhotra. Noor is written by Saba Imtiaz, Althea Kaushal, Shikha Sharma, Sunhil Sippy, Ishita Moitra and Ishita Moitra Udhwani and it is directed by Sunhil Sippy. T-Series acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Noor was released on 20th April 2017 and takes a screen time of 116 minutes. Noor was made on a budget of ₹24 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹6 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Althea Delmas-Kaushal, Shikhaa Sharma, Sunhil Sippy and Saba Imtiaz. Cinematography was done by Keiko Nakahara and editing by Aarif Sheikh. The music was composed by IIFA Award winner Amal Mallik along with Rahul Dev Burman, Amaal Mallik, Tanishk Bagchi, Benedict Taylor and Naren Chandavarkar.
