Dharma Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Apoorva Mehta, Hiroo Johar, Karan Johar and Hiroo Yash Johar. The movie is written and directed by Shashank Khaitan. Fox Star Studios acquired the distribution rights for the film. Badrinath Ki Dulhania was released on 9th March 2017 and takes a screen time of 139 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Badrinath Ki Dulhania was made on a budget of ₹44 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹114 crore. Cinematography was done by Neha Parti Matiyani and editing by Manan Sagar. The music was composed by IIFA Award winner Amal Mallik along with Bappi Lahiri, John Stewart Eduri, Akhil Sachdeva, Tanishk Bagchi and Amaal Mallik. At the 2018 IIFA Awards It won an award for Best Music Director.
