Adventure Comedy Fantasy Sci-fi Thriller Action

After survivors of an atomic test claim to have been given a juice preventing radiation sickness by the natives of Infant Island, a scientific expedition sets out to discover mutated flora and two small women known as the Shobijin who persuade Mothra to destroy buildings in Tokyo to locate them before being able to return them to their home on the island. Mosura is a 1961 Japanese English-language Adventure Comedy film featuring Akira Takarada, Yuriko Hoshi, The Peanuts, Hiroshi Koizumi, Furankî Sakai, Kyôko Kagawa and Hideo Ôtsuka. Toho Co. in association with Ltd. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Tomoyuki Tanaka and Sanezumi Fujimoto. The movie is directed by Ishir Honda. Toho acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Mosura was released on 30th July 1961 and takes a screen time of 88 minutes. Mosura was made on a budget of ¥200 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Shinichi Sekizawa. Cinematography was done by Hajime Koizumi and editing by Ryohei Fujii. The music was composed by Akira Ifukube.
