A company sends men to find a giant monster (King Kong) to boost their ratings, while Godzilla makes his way towards Japan and ultimately battles Kong with both seemingly falling into the water, though Kong resurfaces as the victor. King Kong vs. Godzilla is a 1962 Japanese Japanese-language Action Adventure motion picture featuring Tadao Takashima, Kenji Sahara, Y Fujiki, Ichir Arishima, Mie Hama, Yû Fujiki and Akio Kusama. Toho Co. in association with Ltd. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Tomoyuki Tanaka. King Kong vs. Godzilla is written by Shin ichi Sekizawa, Paul Mason, Bruce Howard, Ishiro Honda, Takeo Murata, Shigeru Kayama, Merian C. Cooper, Edgar Wallace, Willis H. O brien, John Beck and Shinichi Sekizawa and it is directed by Ishiro Honda and Ishir Honda. Toho acquired the distribution rights for the movie. King Kong vs. Godzilla was released on 26th June 1963 and takes a screen time of 97 minutes. King Kong vs. Godzilla was made on a budget of ¥150 million and at the box office it grossed only $3 million. Cinematography was done by Hajime Koizumi and editing by Reiko Kaneko. The music was composed by Akira Ifukube.
