UTV Motion Pictures was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Ronnie Screwvala. Hattrick is written by Rajat Arora and Saurabh Shukla and it is directed by Milan Luthria. Disney-ABC Domestic Television acquired the distribution rights for the film. Hattrick was released on 16th March 2007 and takes a screen time of 110 minutes. Hattrick was made on a budget of ₹9 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹4 crore.
