Amidst economic downturn, two roommates turn to escort services to make ends meet, leading to trust issues and eventual reconciliation while highlighting the exploitation prevalent in society. Desi Boyz is a 2011 Indian Hindi-language Comedy Drama film featuring Akshay Kumar, John Abraham, Deepika Padukone, Chitrangada Singh, Anupam Kher, Sanjay Dutt and Hetvi Karia. Desi Boyz was Produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Krishika Lulla, Ram Mirchandani and Vijay Ahuja. Desi Boyz is written by Rohit Dhawan, Renuka Kunzru and Milap Zaveri and it is directed by Rohit Dhawan. Eros International acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Desi Boyz was released on 25th November 2011 and takes a screen time of 121 minutes. Desi Boyz was made on a budget of ₹54 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹45 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Rohit Dhawan. Cinematography was done by Natarajan Subramaniam and editing by Nitin Rokade. The music was composed by Pritam Chakraborty along with Sandeep Shirodkar.
