Tadka is written by Surya Menon and directed by Prakash Raj And S.s Rajamouli. Tadka was released on 4th November 2022. Tadka was made on a budget of ₹27 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹34 crore. Cinematography was done by Preetha Jayaraman and editing by A. Sreekar Prasad. The music was composed by Ilaiyaraaja along with Ankit Tiwari, Anup Rubens and Kapil Jangir.
