The story follows Dr. Uday Gupta, a medical student studying gynaecology in Bhopal, who faces challenges from his female colleagues and falls in love with Dr. Fatima Siddiqui, but their relationship is strained by interruptions and complications in their personal and professional lives, ultimately leading Uday to propose to Fatima as a friend. Doctor G is a 2022 Indian Hindi-language Comedy Drama film starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Rakul Preet Singh, Shefali Shah, Shefali Shetty, Paresh Pahuja, Sheeba Chaddha and Abhay Chintamani Mishr. Junglee Pictures was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Junglee Pictures. Doctor G is written by Sumit Saxena, Saurabh Bharat, Vishal Wagh and Anubhuti Kashyap and it is directed by Anubhuti Kashyap. Anand Pandit Motion Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Doctor G was released on 14th October 2022 and takes a screen time of 124 minutes. Doctor G was made on a budget of ₹35 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹23 crore. Cinematography was done by Eeshit Narain and editing by Prerna Saigal. The music was composed by Filmfare Award winner Amit Trivedi along with Ketan Sodha.
