No Smoking is a 2007 Indian Hindi-language Drama Fantasy motion picture featuring John Abraham, Ayesha Takia, Paresh Rawal, Ranvir Shorey, Kiku Sharda, Akhauri P. Sinha and Vikramaditya Motwane. The movie is inspired from Quitters Inc. by Stephen King. Big Screen Entertainment and Eros International was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Kumar Mangat Pathak and Vishal Bhardwaj. No Smoking is written by Raj Singh Chaudhary and Anurag Kashyap and it is directed by Anurag Kashyap. Eros International acquired the distribution rights for the film. No Smoking was released on 26th October 2007 and takes a screen time of 127 minutes. No Smoking was made on a budget of ₹7 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹2 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Anurag Kashyap. Cinematography was done by Rajeev Ravi and editing by Aarti Bajaj. The music was composed by National Award winner Vishal Bhardwaj.
