Lakshminath Creations was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) N Sudhish. Vadhyar is written by Nandu Poduval and Rajesh Raghavan and it is directed by Nidheesh Sakthi. Kalasangham Films acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Vadhyar was released on 8th June 2012 and takes a screen time of 107 minutes. The film made a box office gross of ₹84 lakh. Cinematography was done by Pradeep Nair and editing by Ranjan Abraham. The music was composed by Manoj George along with Rinil Gowtham.
