Photographer Ashwin becomes embroiled in politics when his photograph angers a corrupt political party, prompting him to use his photography to reveal the truth about the system and campaign for a new political party with the help of two newspaper employees, facing escalating danger as they gather evidence and eventually succeeding in defeating the corrupt party in the elections, all while aiming to give hope to the people and a path to a better future. Ko was Produced by Elred Kumar, Sunil Lulla, Sunanda Murali Manohar and Prashita Chaudhary. Ko is written by A. Balakrishnan, Suresh Gopi, A.n. Balakrishnan, Anand K.v., D. Suresh and K.s. Ravikumar and it is directed by Anand K.v. and Soundarya Rajinikanth. Eros International acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Ko was released on 22nd April 2011 and takes a screen time of 124 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Ko was made on a budget of ₹10 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹40 crore. Cinematography was done by Padmesh and editing by Anthony. The music was composed by A. R. Rahman.
