A dissatisfied television journalist becomes a war correspondent in Afghanistan, making friends with colleagues and adjusting to the assignment while capturing compelling footage, ultimately staying for years but later deciding to return to the US after becoming disillusioned. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot is a 2016 American English-language Biography Comedy movie starring Tina Fey, Margot Robbie, Martin Freeman, Alfred Molina, Christopher Abbott, Billy Bob Thornton and Doug Vanbenthuysen. The movie is based on The Taliban Shuffle: Strange Days in Afghanistan and Pakistan by Kim Barker. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot was Produced by Ian Bryce, Lorne Michaels and Tina Fey. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot is written by Robert Carlock and Kim Barker and it is directed by Glenn Ficarra and John Requa. Paramount Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot was released on 4th March 2016 and takes a screen time of 112 minutes.
