The Social Network is written by Aaron Sorkin and Ben Mezrich and it is directed by David Fincher. Sony Pictures Releasing acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. The Social Network was released on 28th October 2010 and takes a screen time of 120 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released and became successful at box office. The Social Network was made on a budget of $40 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $224 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Aaron Sorkin. Cinematography was done by Jeff Cronenweth and editing by Angus Wall and Kirk Baxter. The music was composed by Academy Award Oscar winner Atticus Ross along with Trent Reznor. At the 2011 Oscar Awards It won 3 awards including: Best Writing, Adapted Screenplay, Best Achievement in Film Editing and Best Achievement in Music Written for Motion Pictures, Original Score. At the 2011 BAFTA Awards It also won an award for Best Director.
