Tony Montana immigrates to Miami with friends, is involved in drug dealings, becomes successful, but faces legal troubles and a breakdown in his relationships, leading to a tragic and violent downfall. Scarface is a 1983 American English-language Crime Drama motion picture featuring Al Pacino, Steven Bauer, Michelle Pfeiffer, Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio, Robert Loggia, Miriam Colon and Arnold Roberts. Universal Pictures was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Martin Bregman. Scarface is written by Oliver Stone, Armitage Trail, Howard Hawks and Ben Hecht and it is directed by Brian De Palma. Universal Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Scarface was released on 9th December 1983 and takes a screen time of 170 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Scarface was made on a budget of $37 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $65 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Oliver Stone. Cinematography was done by John A. Alonzo and editing by Jerry Greenberg and David Ray. The music was composed by Academy Award Oscar winner Giorgio Moroder.
