A wealthy baby is kidnapped by bumbling criminals who demand a ransom, but the baby proves to be a difficult captive and eventually escapes, going on an adventure before being reunited with his parents while the criminals are arrested. Babys Day Out is a 1994 American English-language Adventure Comedy motion picture starring Joe Mantegna, Lara Flynn Boyle, Joe Pantoliano, Brian Haley, Cynthia Nixon, Fred Dalton Thompson and Steve Head. Hughes Entertainment was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) John Hughes and Richard Vane. Babys Day Out is written by John Hughes and directed by Patrick Read Johnson. 20th Century Fox acquired the distribution rights for the film. Babys Day Out was released on 1st July 1994 and takes a screen time of 99 minutes. Babys Day Out was made on a budget of $48 million and at the box office it grossed only $16 million. Cinematography was done by Thomas E. Ackerman and editing by David Rawlins. The music was composed by Bruce Broughton.
