In a nation oppressed by a dictator, the president and his grandson defy capture and attempt to escape the country, facing hardships and witnessing the devastation caused by the regime. The President is a 2014 Georgian-language Drama motion picture featuring Misha Gomiashvili, Dachi Orvelashvili, Mikheil Gomiashvili, Leo Antadze, Zura Begalishvili, Elene Bezarashvili and George Anthony. The President was Produced by Vladimer Katcharava, Mike Downey, Sam Taylor and Maysam Makhmalbaf. The President is written by Mohsen Makhmalbaf, Marzieh Makhmalbaf and Marziyeh Meshkiny and it is directed by Mohsen Makhmalbaf. The President was released on 1st October 2014 and takes a screen time of 119 minutes. Cinematography was done by Konstantin Mindia Esadze and editing by Hana Makhmalbaf and Marziyeh Meshkiny
