Cloud Atlas is written by David Mitchell, Lana Wachowski, Tom Tykwer and Lilly Wachowski and it is directed by Tom Tykwer, Lana Wachowski and Lilly Wachowski. Warner Bros. Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Cloud Atlas was released on 17th January 2013 and takes a screen time of 172 minutes. Cloud Atlas was made on a budget of $146 million and at the box office it grossed only $130 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Lana Wachowski, Tom Tykwer and Lilly Wachowski. Cinematography was done by John Toll and Frank Griebe and editing by Alexander Berner. The music was composed by Tom Tykwer along with Johnny Klimek and Reinhold Heil.
