Russian Doll follows Nadia, who is trapped in a time loop during her 36th birthday party, as she repeatedly dies and restarts, trying to unravel the mystery behind it; in the second season, Nadia is sent back to 1982 and stuck in her mothers pregnant body, leading her to search for lost gold Krugerrands to change her familys history. Russian Doll is a 2019 American English-language Comedy Drama television show featuring Natasha Lyonne, Greta Lee, Yul Vazquez, Elizabeth Ashley, Charlie Barnett, Chlo Sevigny and Jes Davis. Universal Television in association with Paper Kite Productions, Jax Media, 3 Arts Entertainment, Avenue A and Shoot to Midnight. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Kate Arend, John Skidmore and Ryan Mccormick. NBCUniversal Television Distribution acquired the distribution rights for the show. Creators of the series include Natasha Lyonne, Leslye Headland and Amy Poehler. Russian Doll has 2 seasons and a cumulative total of 15 episodes which have a running time of 24-33 minutes each. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released.
