In 2035, a technophobic cop investigates a crime that may have been perpetrated by a robot, which leads to a larger threat to humanity. I, Robot is a 2004 American English-language Action Crime film featuring Will Smith, Bridget Moynahan, Bruce Greenwood, James Cromwell, Chi Mcbride, Alan Tudyk and Bobby Stewart. The movie is inspired from Premise suggested by I Robot by Isaac Asimov. Davis Entertainment in association with Laurence Mark Productions, Overbrook Films and Mediastream IV. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Laurence Mark, John Davis, Topher Dow and Wyck Godfrey. I, Robot is written by Jeff Vintar, Akiva Goldsman and Isaac Asimov and it is directed by Alex Proyas. 20th Century Fox acquired the distribution rights for the film. I, Robot was released on 22nd July 2004 and takes a screen time of 115 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. I, Robot was made on a budget of $120 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $353 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Jeff Vintar and Akiva Goldsman. Cinematography was done by Simon Duggan and editing by Richard Learoyd, Armen Minasian and William Hoy. The music was composed by Marco Beltrami.
