A family discovers the power to bring book characters into the real world, and they must navigate a dangerous adventure to defeat the villain and return the characters back into their story. Inkheart is a 2009 English-language Adventure Family motion picture starring Brendan Fraser, Paul Bettany, Helen Mirren, Jim Broadbent, Andy Serkis, Eliza Hope Bennett and Nicholas Dellavita. The movie is inspired from Inkheart by Cornelia Funke. New Line Cinema in association with Internationale Filmproduktion Blackbird Erste. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Iain Softley, Cornelia Funke, Ileen Maisel, Dylan Cuva, Sarah Wang, Ute Leonhardt, Toby Emmerich, Mark Ordesky and Andrew Licht. Inkheart is written by David Lindsay Abaire and Cornelia Funke and it is directed by Iain Softley. Warner Bros. Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Inkheart was released on 22nd January 2009 and takes a screen time of 106 minutes. Inkheart was made on a budget of $60 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $62 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by David Lindsay-Abaire. Cinematography was done by Roger Pratt and editing by Martin Walsh. The music was composed by Javier Navarrete.
