The Decline of Western Civilization was Produced by Penelope Spheeris and Jeff Prettyman. The film is written and directed by Penelope Spheeris. Nu-Image Film acquired the distribution rights for the movie. The Decline of Western Civilization was released on 1st July 1981 and takes a screen time of 100 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released.
