A gang of young petty criminals end up in an abandoned farm when a deal goes wrong. The Counterfeiters is a 2007 German-language Comedy movie featuring Karl Markovics, August Diehl, Devid Striesow, Ameet Chana, Ronny Jhutti, Pooja Shah and Hon Ping Tang. The movie is based on Die F lscher by Adolf Burger. Aichholzer Film in association with Magnolia Filmproduktion and Babelsberg Studio. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Josef Aichholzer, Nina Bohlmann and Babette Schr Der. The Counterfeiters is written by Christine Edwards, Manish Patel and Stefan Ruzowitzky and it is directed by Sarjit Bains and Stefan Ruzowitzky. Filmladen acquired the distribution rights for the film. The Counterfeiters was released on 19th July 2010 in German,Russian,English and Hebrew languages and takes a screen time of 98 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. The Counterfeiters was made on a budget of $6 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $20 million. Cinematography was done by Benedict Neuenfels and editing by Britta Nahler. The music was composed by Marius Ruhland.
