The Pianist is written by Ronald Harwood and Wladyslaw Szpilman and it is directed by Roman Polanski. Focus Features acquired the distribution rights for the film. The Pianist was released on 17th September 2002 in English and German languages and takes a screen time of 150 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. The Pianist was made on a budget of $35 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $120 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Ronald Harwood. Cinematography was done by Pawe Edelman and editing by Herv de Luze. The music was composed by Wojciech Kilar.
