The Colditz Story

During World War II, prisoners attempted to escape from Colditz Castle, a high security prisoner-of-war camp mainly holding British, Dutch, French, and Polish prisoners who had previously attempted to escape from other camps, and after failed tunnel attempts and collaboration with guards, escape officers were created for each nationality and two men successfully escaped disguised as German officers. The Colditz Story is a 1955 English-language Drama History film starring John Mills, Eric Portman, Christopher Rhodes, Ian Carmichael, Lionel Jeffries, Bryan Forbes and Joe Wadham. The movie is inspired from The Colditz Story by Pat Reid. The Colditz Story was Produced by Ivan Foxwell.
