Enemy at the Gates

During the Battle of Stalingrad, a skilled Red Army sniper named Vassili Zaitsev becomes a symbol of inspiration after saving a commissar, but faces a formidable German sniper named König who outsmarts him, leading to a series of failed attempts to eliminate the German sniper until Vassilis friend sacrifices himself to expose Königs location, ultimately resulting in Vassilis successful kill and the liberation of Stalingrad where he is reunited with his love, Tania, in a field hospital.
