The Post is a 2017 American English-language Drama History motion picture starring Meryl Streep, Tom Hanks, Sarah Paulson, Bob Odenkirk, Tracy Letts, Bradley Whitford and Tina Sloan. 20th Century Fox in association with DreamWorks Pictures, Amblin Partners, Amblin Entertainment, Pascal Pictures, Star Thrower Entertainment and Participant Media. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Steven Spielberg, Kristie Macosko Krieger and Amy Pascal. The Post is written by Josh Singer, Liz Hannah, Desiree Akhavan, Cecilia Frugiuele and Emily M. Danforth and it is directed by Desiree Akhavan and Steven Spielberg. 20th Century Fox acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. The Post was released on 18th January 2018 and takes a screen time of 116 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. The Post was made on a budget of $50 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $193 million. Cinematography was done by Janusz Kami ski and editing by Michael Kahn and Sarah Broshar. The music was composed by Academy Award Oscar winner John Williams.
