Prisoners is a 2013 American English-language Crime Drama film featuring Hugh Jackman, Jake Gyllenhaal, Viola Davis, Maria Bello, Terrence Howard, Melissa Leo and Arnold Montey. Alcon Entertainment in association with 8:38 Productions and Madhouse Entertainment. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Andrew A. Kosove, Broderick Johnson, Kira Davis and Adam Kolbrenner. Prisoners is written by Aaron Guzikowski and directed by Denis Villeneuve. Warner Bros. Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Prisoners was released on 19th September 2013 and takes a screen time of 153 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Prisoners was made on a budget of $46 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $122 million. Cinematography was done by Roger A. Deakins and editing by Joel Cox and Gary D. Roach. The music was composed by J Hann J Hannsson.
