Amaradeepam

A wealthy girl named Aruna runs away from her home to avoid marrying her cousin Sukumar, and while being pursued by goons, she is saved by a passerby named Ashok who later loses his memory and falls in love with another woman named Rupa, leaving Aruna searching for him and the climax of the story focuses on whether Ashok regains his memory. Amaradeepam is a 1956 Indian Tamil-language Drama motion picture starring Sivaji Ganesan, Saroja E.v., Shivaji Ganesan, Chittor V. Nagaiah, M.n. Nambiar, Padmini Ramachandran and K.a. Thangavelu.
