Amaran

An orphan named Karthik is saved by Govindan and is raised by him, eventually becoming a benevolent slum lord; however, when Govindan is killed by gangsters, Amaran seeks revenge against heartless don Aandava Perumal but ends up facing tragic consequences for his chosen family and later flees to Goa with Sivagaami, his lover, where they are taken care of by underworld don Miranda, and after working for him, Amaran marries Sivagaami, and years later, he returns to Tamil Nadu to confront his enemy, resulting in the death of his son and the subsequent killing of Aandava Perumal. Amaran is a 1992 Indian Tamil-language Crime movie starring Meera Jasmine, Disha Pandey, Rajeev Mohan, Nassar, Rahul Dev, Sana and Radha Ravi. Amaran was Produced by P. Amarnath Reddy. The movie is written and directed by Srikanth Vemulapalli. Amarnathan Movies acquired the distribution rights for the film. Amaran was released on 8th August 1992 and takes a screen time of 97 min. Cinematography was done by Venkata Prasad and editing by M.R.Varma. The music was composed by Vijay Kurakula.
