Southpaw Entertainment in association with CJ Entertainment. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Richard Barton Lewis. August Rush is written by Nick Castle, James V. Hart and Paul Castro and it is directed by Kirsten Sheridan. Warner Bros. Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. August Rush was released on 21st November 2007 and takes a screen time of 114 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. August Rush was made on a budget of $25 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $66 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Nick Castle and James V. Hart. Cinematography was done by John Mathieson and editing by William Steinkamp. The music was composed by Mark Mancina.
