The Mystery Inc. gang must save Coolsville from an attack of past unmasked monsters brought to life by an evil masked figure trying to unmask the gang. The movie is inspired from Scooby-Doo by Joe Ruby Ken Spears. Mosaic Media Group was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Charles Roven and Richard Suckle. Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed is written by William Hanna, Joseph Barbera and James Gunn and it is directed by Raja Gosnell. Warner Bros. Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed was released on 26th March 2004 and takes a screen time of 92 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed was made on a budget of $25 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $181 million. Cinematography was done by Oliver Wood and editing by Kent Beyda.
