Adrift

Tami Oldham and Richard Sharp set sail from Tahiti to San Diego but encounter a devastating storm, resulting in Richards loss and leaving Tami stranded at sea for 41 days until she is saved by a Japanese research vessel. Adrift is a 2018 American English-language Action Adventure motion picture featuring Shailene Woodley, Sam Claflin, Grace Palmer, Jeffrey Thomas, Elizabeth Hawthorne, Tami Ashcraft and Tim Solomon. The movie is inspired from Red Sky in Mourning: A True Story of Love Loss and Survival at Sea by Tami Oldham Ashcraft Susea McGearhart. STX Films in association with Lakeshore Entertainment, H. Brothers, Ingenious Media and RVK Studios. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Aaron Kandell, Baltasar Kormákur, Jordan Kandell, Ralph Winter, Baltasar Korm Kur and Shailene Woodley. Adrift is written by Aaron Kandell, David Branson Smith and Jordan Kandell and it is directed by Baltasar Kormákur and Baltasar Korm Kur. STX Entertainment acquired the distribution rights for the film. Adrift was released on 1st June 2018 and takes a screen time of 96 minutes. Adrift was made on a budget of $35 million and at the box office it grossed only $0 million. Cinematography was done by Robert Richardson and editing by John Gilbert. The music was composed by Volker Bertelmann.
