The Host is written by Andrew Niccol and Stephenie Meyer and it is directed by Andrew Niccol. Open Road Films acquired the distribution rights for the film. The Host was released on 28th March 2013 and takes a screen time of 125 minutes. The Host was made on a budget of $40 million and at the box office it grossed only $0 million.
