Han and Qira escape a dangerous gang, Han joins the Imperial Navy and later teams up with Beckett to steal fuel, but their mission fails and they must repay a debt to crime boss Dryden Vos, so they devise a plan with Lando Calrissian to steal coaxium, leading to a daring escape, betrayal, and Han seeking revenge to secure a valuable resource for his future adventures. Solo is a 2018 American English-language Adventure Drama film featuring Alden Ehrenreich, Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke, Donald Glover, Thandiwe Newton, Phoebe Waller-bridge and Davide De Rosa. The movie is based on Characters by George Lucas. Lucasfilm Ltd. was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Kathleen Kennedy, Allison Shearmur and Simon Emanuel. Solo is written by Jonathan Kasdan and Lawrence Kasdan and it is directed by Ron Howard. Walt Disney Studios acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Solo was released on 11th January 2019 and takes a screen time of 135 minutes. Solo was made on a budget of $275 million and at the box office it grossed only $1 million. Cinematography was done by Bradford Young and editing by Pietro Scalia. The music was composed by John Powell along with John Williams.
