Plan B Entertainment in association with Keep Your Head Productions, MICA Entertainment and MadRiver Pictures. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Anthony Katagas, Dede Gardner, James Gray, Georgia James Gray, Jeremy Kleiner and Dale Armin Johnson. The motion picture is written and directed by James Gray and Georgia James Gray. Amazon Studios acquired the distribution rights for the movie. The Lost City of Z was released on 20th April 2017 and takes a screen time of 141 minutes. The Lost City of Z was made on a budget of $30 million and at the box office it grossed only $19 million.
