A burnt-out NYPD detective escorts a witness to testify against corrupt police officers, evading gunmen, discovering a mole in the police force, and turning a bus into a hostage situation before successfully reaching the courthouse to expose the corruption. 16 Blocks is a 2006 American English-language Action Crime film starring Bruce Willis, Mos Def, David Morse, Cylk Cozart, Yasiin Bey, Jenna Stern and William S. Wong. Alcon Entertainment in association with Millennium Films, Cheyenne Enterprises, Emmett/Furla Films, The Donners Company, Equity Pictures and Nu Image Films. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Avi Lerner, Randall Emmett, John Thompson, Arnold Rifkin and Jim Van Wyck. 16 Blocks is written by Richard Wenk and directed by Richard Donner. Warner Bros. Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. 16 Blocks was released on 20th April 2006 and takes a screen time of 102 minutes. 16 Blocks was made on a budget of $55 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $65 million. Cinematography was done by Glen MacPherson and editing by Steven Mirkovich. The music was composed by Klaus Badelt.
