Vellam

A troubled alcoholic named Murali Nambiar struggles with addiction, causing strain in his family life, but with the help of Dr. Subhramaniyam, he eventually turns his life around and becomes a successful entrepreneur, offering support to another alcoholic in need. Vellam is a 2021 Indian Malayalam-language Biography Drama motion picture featuring Jayasurya, Samyuktha Menon, Siddique, Santhosh Keezhattoor, Johny Antony, Sreelakshmi and Midhun. Vellam was Produced by Josekutty Madathil, Ranjith Manambrakkat, Yedu Krishna and Biju Thoranathel. The movie is written and directed by Prajesh Sen. Central Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Vellam was released on 22nd January 2021. Vellam was made on a budget of ₹5 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹6 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Prajesh Sen. Cinematography was done by Roby Varghese Raj and editing by Bijith Bala. The music was composed by National Award winner Gopi Sundar along with Bijibal.
