Kurup

The story depicts a mans descent into greed and criminality as he uncovers an illegal alcohol trading operation, devises a plan to deceive his boss for financial gain, resorts to murder to accomplish his goal, and subsequently becomes one of Indias most wanted criminals, with law enforcement pursuing him for decades. Kurup is a 2021 Indian Malayalam-language Biography Crime movie starring Dulquer Salmaan, Indrajith Sukumaran, Shine Tom Chacko, Sobhita Dhulipala, Manoj Bajpayee, Tovino Thomas and Chandu Kanuri. Dwarakish Chitra was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Dulquer Salmaan. The movie is directed by Srinath Rajendran. Wayfarer Films acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Kurup was released on 12th November 2021 and takes a screen time of 155 minutes. Kurup was made on a budget of ₹40 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹23 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Daniel Sayooj Nair and K. S. Aravind. Cinematography was done by Nimish Ravi and editing by Vivek Harshan. The music was composed by Sushin Shyam.
