Athisayan

A young reporter working for New India Television tries to bring up some orphans she picked up from the streets while she and her friend try to prove their innocence regarding a murder case and obtain video evidence of politicians accepting bribes but are kidnapped by corrupt henchmen and saved by a child prodigy who later transforms into a gigantic monster. Athisayan is a 2007 Indian Malayalam-language Comedy Drama movie featuring Master Devadas, Jackie Shroff, Kavya Madhavan, Jayasurya, Mukesh Babu, Jagadish and Raghu. Sree Gokulam Movies was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Gokulam Gopalan. Athisayan is written by Vinayan Tg and Sunil K. Anand and it is directed by Vinayan Tg. Sree Gokulam Release acquired the distribution rights for the film. Athisayan was released on 14th April 2007 and takes a screen time of 135 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Athisayan was made on a budget of ₹5 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹22 crore. Cinematography was done by Raaja Ratnam and editing by G. Murali. The music was composed by Alphonse Joseph.
