Scrappy, willful, and fiercely self-reliant spitfire hoyden automobile mechanic Tomasina Tommy Boyd develops a huge crush on cocky race car driving dreamboat hunk Randy Starr after meeting Randy at a party held at a jerky rich guy s house. However, male chauvinist Randy won t take Tommy seriously because she s a gal, so Tommy dares Randy to a high stakes souped-up automobile race in order to win over his respect. Written by Woodyanders Tomboy is a 1985 American English-language Comedy film featuring Betsy Russell, Jerry Dinome, Kristi Somers, Richard Erdman, Philip Sterling, Gerard Christopher and Brian Jennings. Tomboy was Produced by Michael D. Castle and Marilyn Jacobs Tenser. The movie is directed by Herb Freed. Crown International Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Tomboy was released on 14th November 1985 and takes a screen time of 91 minutes. The motion picture made a box office gross of $14 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Herb Freed and Ben Zelig. Cinematography was done by Daniel Yarussi and editing by Richard E. Westover. The music was composed by Michael Lloyd.
