In a dystopian future, a government worker named Sam Lowry gets caught up in a wrongful arrest, leading him to join forces with a woman named Jill Layton to uncover the truth, but their attempts ultimately lead to his descent into madness. Brazil is a 1985 English-language Drama Sci-Fi film featuring Jonathan Pryce, Robert De Niro, Katherine Helmond, Ian Holm, Bob Hoskins, Michael Palin and Frances Baker. Brazil was Produced by Arnon Milchan. Brazil is written by Terry Gilliam, Tom Stoppard, Charles Mckeown, Patrick Cassavetti and Arnon Milchan and it is directed by Terry Gilliam. Universal Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Brazil was released on 13th July 1990 and takes a screen time of 143 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released. Brazil was made on a budget of $15 million and at the box office it grossed only $0 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Terry Gilliam, Tom Stoppard and Charles McKeown. Cinematography was done by Roger Pratt and editing by Julian Doyle. The music was composed by Michael Kamen.
