In 1971 North Carolina, Ann Atwater campaigns for better housing conditions and Bill Riddick arranges for a charrette with white judges to vote on desegregation, while CP initially refuses but later surprises everyone by voting for it. The Best of Enemies is a 2019 American English-language Biography Drama motion picture featuring Taraji P. Henson, Sam Rockwell, Babou Ceesay, Anne Heche, Wes Bentley, Nick Searcy and Trent Bounds. The movie is inspired from The Best of Enemies: Race and Redemption in the New South by Osha Gray Davidson. Astute Films in association with Material Pictures. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Danny Strong, Fred Bernstein, Matt Berenson, Robin Bissell, Dominique Telson, Tobey Maguire and Matthew Plouffe. The film is written and directed by Robin Bissell. STXfilms acquired the distribution rights for the movie. The Best of Enemies was released on 5th April 2019 and takes a screen time of 133 minutes. The Best of Enemies was made on a budget of $10 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $10 million. Cinematography was done by David Lanzenberg and editing by Harry Yoon. The music was composed by Marcelo Zarvos.
