Two cops with contrasting personalities and approaches to solving crimes are forced to reteam after ten years to investigate a murder in a divided French town, but as they uncover a wider conspiracy, they must navigate deep-rooted conflicts, corruption, power struggles, and deceit while racing against time to bring justice and unite the community torn apart by division. The Takedown is a 2005 French-language movie featuring Omar Sy, Laurent Lafitte, Iz A Higelin, R. Paul Wilson, Jennifer Zorbalas, Lisa Joffrey and Adam Grace. Mandarin et Compagnie was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Eric Altmayer and Nicolas Altmayer. The Takedown is written by St Phane Kazandjian and directed by Louis Leterrier. Netflix acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. The movie has a running time of 119 minutes. Cinematography was done by Thomas Hardmeier and editing by Vincent Tabaillon. The music was composed by Guillaume Roussel.
