There are only so many ways even a Mack Sennett clown could fall over, and Farley exhausts them all within the space of a half hour, leaving us with a good 60 minutes to wonder what comes next. ( Read More )
    • Director Dennis Dugan has done fine TV work (NYPD Blue, Chicago Hope), but with 1996s Adam Sandler stinker Happy Gilmore and this sad affair, he seems stuck in a lamebrained SNL rut. ( Read More )
    • Rita Kempley

Farley, a real lightweight compared to such late, great predecessors John Belushi and John Candy, brings none of Belushis edgy intelligence, nor Candys gentle pathos to this comic caricature. ( Read More )
    • James Berardinelli
