The Last Safari

Miles, a big game hunter seeking revenge, goes on a safari in Africa with an American millionaire and his girlfriend, facing racial tensions, rescuing trapped hunters, and encountering dangerous elephants, as Miles seeks redemption for his friends death while Casey eventually leaves Africa and Grant behind. The Last Safari is a 1967 English-language Adventure motion picture starring Kaz Garas, Stewart Granger, Gabriella Licudi, Johnny Sekka, Liam Redmond, Eugene Deckers and Labina. The movie is based on Gilligan s Last Elephant by Gerald Hanley. Paramount Film Services was the production house involved in the project. The Last Safari is written by John Gay and Gerald Hanley and it is directed by Henry Hathaway. Paramount Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. The Last Safari was released on 1st November 1967 and takes a screen time of 110 minutes. Cinematography was done by Ted Moore and editing by John Bloom. The music was composed by John Dankworth.
