Outbreak is a 1995 American English-language Action Drama movie starring Dustin Hoffman, Rene Russo, Morgan Freeman, Donald Sutherland, Cuba Gooding Jr., Patrick Dempsey and Bob Lazar. The movie is inspired from The Hot Zone by Richard Preston. Punch Productions in association with inc. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Gail Katz, Arnold Kopelson, Anne Kopelson and Wolfgang Petersen. Outbreak is written by Laurence Dworet and Robert Roy Pool and it is directed by Wolfgang Petersen. Warner Bros. acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Outbreak was released on 10th March 1995 and takes a screen time of 128 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Outbreak was made on a budget of $50 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $189 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Laurence Dworet and Robert Roy Pool. Cinematography was done by Michael Ballhaus and editing by William Hoy, Lynzee Klingman, Stephen E. Rivkin and Neil Travis. The music was composed by James Newton Howard.
