The movie is inspired from Winter s Tale by Mark Helprin. Weed Road Pictures in association with Marc Platt Productions. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Akiva Goldsman, Michael Tadross, Marc Platt, Marc E. Platt and Tony Allard. Winter’s Tale is written by Akiva Goldsman and Mark Helprin and it is directed by Akiva Goldsman. Warner Bros. Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Winter’s Tale was released on 13th February 2014 and takes a screen time of 118 minutes. Winter’s Tale was made on a budget of $60 million and at the box office it grossed only $30 million. Cinematography was done by Caleb Deschanel and editing by Wayne Wahrman and Tim Squyres. The music was composed by Rupert Gregson-williams along with Hans Zimmer.
